OUR
story
Where do we start? I remember babysitting throughout most of my teenage years so I thought babies and kids weren’t a big deal, right? Was I ever wrong! Becoming a mom to a beautiful, curious, super energetic little boy has really opened my eyes, not to mention my mommy senses. I knew the basics but as they say, NO ONE prepares you for motherhood and the little details that come with it that no one talks about.
Teething was one of those little, yet very big details for our little guy. We started teething at five months; two teeth, four teeth, then six and eight. Sometimes we had four teeth making their way out at once! We tried frozen fruit, frozen soothers and cloths, and even toys but nothing seemed to bring relief. Finally, after trying so many teethers and occasionally tearing the house down trying to find the “favourite of the day”, I had my Ah ha! moment.
My little guy loved his Dino Chew! He loved pulling it apart and putting it back together (with mommy’s help of course), and of course, he loved chewing on it most of all. We are now at 15 months and he still loves his Dino Chew and doesn’t leave the house without it (mind you we don’t leave our home due to Covid).
